Responsibilities and Duties:
-Performselectricalengineeringdesign,includingthedevelopmentof
singlelinediagrams,Substation layout, lightning and earthing design,busbar/conductor connection, LVAC distribution,etc.
-Developsmaterialrequisitionsandspecificationsfornontandard
equipmentandbillsofmaterialfor off-the-shelfequipment
andmaterials.
-Properlyinterpretsandappliescodes&standardsandcustomerdesign
requirements,forthe preparationofelectricaldesigndocuments,
specifications,materialrequisitionsandsystemdescriptionsrelatedtodesigntasks.
Qualifications:
-Graduated from disciplines including electrical power system, electrical engineering or electrical automation
-Minimum 2 years experiences on electrical engineering work for substations or power plant.
-Extensiveunderstandingofengineeringdisciplinedrawingsandsystem
calculationssuchasshort circuitand earthing cal.
-Abilitytosizeequipmentandperformconductor/cablesizing
calculations
-Familiar with electrical equipment, such as transformer, power circuit breaker, disconnector, CT/PT, switchgear and control gear, conductor/cables etc.
-ExperiencewithMicrosoftofficeprograms,Autocad,andothercommon
computerprograms.
-ExtensiveknowledgeandapplicationofIEC code or NECcodeandANSI/IEEEStandards.
-Extensiveknowledgeonelectricalsystems,schematicsandelectrical
equipmentlayouts.
-FamiliarwithETAPandotherindustryelectricalsystemdesigntools (suchasCAD2D,Bentley)andcabledesigningandroutingsoftware.
