Tasks and Resonposibilities:


Perform globally conformity assessment on products to be sold in North America market and define related **** protocol and program

1. North America Regulations and Standards follow-up:

- Investigate and research up-to-date safety, EMC, performance, hazardous substance restriction regulations and standards for lighting products and related lamp and control gears to be sold in North America market
- Keep close monitoring of standards interpretations of renowned 3rd party laboratories or agencies
- Publish reports and training documents about the la**** regulations and standards for CA engineer / lab technician, Project, R&D, Marketing, Quality and Sales teams.

2. Support product development:

- Provide technical recommendation and validate the new product design from compliance perspective. Ensure that all products are developed in compliance with the regulations and standards according to North America market.
- Introduce lab technician to perform **** properly
- Edit conformity analysis reports at each steps of product development

3. Product Certification:

- Follow-up external product certification and ensure that the products comply with the regulations and standards on the market (UL, FCC, Energy star, Lighting Facts…etc).
- Ensure that all certifications can be ready on due time, including with special clients’ requirements.
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with third party labs, such as TUV, ITS and UL

4. Customer support:
- Provide support to customers and help analyze related market complaints on conformity issues
- Provide support to customer coordinator on client’s specific **** requirements

Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.


Requirements:


1. Bachelor degree or above in technology related field from an accredited institution, ideally major in electronic or electrical engineering.

2. Minimum of 5 years certification or quality control experience for lighting and consumer electronic products, ideally in renowned 3rd party laboratory or LED luminaires manufacturer, importer or exporter.

3. Solid knowledge in safety, EMC regulations and lamp performance standards for lighting and consumer electronic products in US, Canada, Mexico market.

4. Experience in UL ****, certification, and inspection market is essential. Experience in product reliability ****, hazards substance restriction control would be a plus.

5. Care for details, self-motivated, hard-working and diligent.

6. Good analytic skills. Able to make decision and provide internal recommendation based on **** result and data.
